The short answer: At StreetQuizine, you can book food truck catering for groups of 30 guests or more. During peak season, the cost for main courses alone is approximately 19 to 40 euros net per person, depending on the number of guests and the menu. In addition, there is a travel and service fee per food truck, as well as charges only for the specific extra services you require for your event.

The final price depends primarily on the number of guests, the selected food package, the event location, the desired serving time, and additional services such as drinks, furniture, or service staff outside the food truck.

How much does food truck catering cost per person?

Our current price guidelines for main courses during peak season are as follows:

  • 30 to 120 guests: approximately 25 to 40 euros net per person
  • 121 to 150 guests: approximately 22 to 35 euros net per person
  • 151 to 220 guests: approximately 22 to 30 euros net per person
  • 221 to 250 guests: approximately 20 to 27 euros net per person
  • 251 guests or more: approximately 19 to 27 euros net per person

The price range is due to the different menu options. A classic burger or bowl catering is calculated differently than an extensive BBQ or a particularly elaborate food truck menu.

The pricing logic is generally the same for corporate events, weddings, birthdays, and other private functions. The deciding factors are the services booked, not the occasion itself. A minimum spend may apply for high-demand dates.

How is the total price calculated?

The total price for food truck catering is usually made up of three components:

  1. the price per person for the meal,
  2. the travel and service flat rate per food truck,
  3. the desired additional services.

Our main courses are offered as an all-you-can-eat flat rate during the agreed serving time. This means your guests can eat as much as they like during this period. Finger food and desserts, however, are calculated in quantities that experience has shown to be sufficient but limited.

The standard serving time is 2.5 hours. If a longer serving time is required, an additional hour generally costs 300 euros net per food truck. This already includes the staff and any additional food served.

What services are already included?

At StreetQuizine, many items are not charged individually. Your personalized total quote includes the following services, among others:

  • Chefs and serving staff inside the food truck
  • Travel to and from the venue
  • Preparation, setup, and teardown
  • Arrival of the food truck approximately 60 to 90 minutes before service begins
  • 2.5 hours of standard food service
  • Disposable tableware and cutlery
  • Napkins, sauces, and toothpicks
  • Custom-printed menus
  • Cleaning of the food truck
  • Waste disposal
  • Personal consultation and a dedicated contact person

This prevents numerous small additional charges from appearing later on. At the event location, we only require a suitable parking space and a standard 230-volt power connection. A water connection is not necessary.

How much does it cost for the food truck to travel to the venue?

The travel and service flat rate is calculated per food truck. The total distance for the round trip from the nearest StreetQuizine location in Korschenbroich or Augsburg is the deciding factor.

Current guide prices are:

  • up to 100 kilometers total distance: around 405 euros net
  • up to 200 kilometers total distance: around 583 euros net
  • up to 300 kilometers total distance: approx. 761 euros net

For longer distances, the flat rate increases accordingly. The distance applicable to your event will be clearly stated in the quote.

What additional costs might arise?

Additional costs only apply if you require services beyond standard food truck operations. These include, for example:

  • Service staff for clearing or attending to tables
  • Reusable tableware instead of the included disposable tableware
  • Furniture, counters, tents, pavilions, or decorations
  • Drinks and additional beverage staff
  • extended serving time
  • an additional food truck
  • extensive full-service or event planning services

A basic soft drink flat rate currently starts at 7.95 euros net per person for 2.5 hours. More comprehensive beverage packages including beer, wine, or other drinks are calculated to suit your event.

A second food truck may be necessary if a large number of guests need to be served within a short period of time. For burgers and bowls, we typically plan for one starting at around 200 guests. For more elaborate BBQ or French menus, a second truck may be advisable starting at around 150 guests. Depending on the menu, a StreetQuizine food truck can serve up to 250 portions per hour.

Three real cost examples from 2026

The following examples are taken from actual quotes and order confirmations. Customer names have been removed and amounts rounded. These are not fixed package prices, but they illustrate how different services affect the total price.

Wedding with premium BBQ:
For a wedding, a premium BBQ for 45 guests, a midnight snack for 65 people, one food truck, and travel were booked. The quoted value was approximately 2,800 euros net.

Corporate event with drinks and furniture:
A corporate event for around 60 guests included an extended BBQ with a burger selection, a 4.5-hour beverage package, furniture, extended serving time, and a longer travel distance. The total value was approximately 6,400 euros net.

Large corporate event with 1,000 guests:
For a large-scale event, four food trucks were deployed to serve 1,000 main courses. This was supplemented by finger food, dessert, a five-hour premium beverage package, external service staff, reusable cutlery, and other full-service amenities. After agreed-upon discounts, the order value was approximately 63,300 euros net.

These examples show that the price of the food itself is only one part of the total budget. Beverages, distance, service duration, furniture, and additional services can significantly influence the final price.

How can costs be reduced?

If you want to save on food truck catering, the date, number of guests, and scope of services have the biggest impact. For weekday events during lunchtime, we can often offer a discount of around 20 percent on the regular food price, depending on the date and our availability.

A clearly defined food concept without many additional event extras also keeps the total price lower. Furthermore, with larger numbers of guests, the price per person often decreases because fixed costs are spread across more people.

How do I get an exact price for my event?

For a concrete quote, we only need the event date, location, expected number of guests, desired food concept, and planned service time. You will typically receive a transparent quote within 24 hours on business days.

This will itemize the food price, the applicable travel and service fees, and all requested additional services. Only the individual quote is binding.

Price information valid as of: September 1, 2026. The amounts mentioned are net guide values based on current peak-season pricing. Private customers will receive a binding total price, including the applicable VAT, in their personal quote.
